ALISON MERRIEN has a well-earned day off as television crews prepare the indoor rink at Warilla for the final stages of the World Cup in New South Wales.
Her semi-final with big Australian hope Karen Murphy, is scheduled for 2pm local time tomorrow.
Another tournament success would propel the Guernsey star to number two in the world rankings, but she knows Murphy will be a tough nut to crack, having narrowly lost to her in the qualifying pool. 'I'm looking forward to the re-match and hopefully it will make for good TV,' said Merrien.
