The 23-year-old (pictured), who will be representing Guernsey at next month's Commonwealth Games, won the tennis tournament at the weekend despite winning only one encounter.
With the structure of the tournament meaning that two new players received byes into the first seven rounds, Ogier was not due to enter until the semi-final stage, alongside Jersey's Andrew Evans.
But when he did, Ogier received a walkover against James Faudemer, meaning that a final was set up against Evans without even playing a game, the Jerseyman beating Mark Gilmour 6-4, 7-5 in the last four.
The final was as close as expected, going the distance.
