Dyke best of Phoenix quartet in Sicily
THE Phoenix Artistic Roller Skating Club had four skaters in the Great Britain team at the Cup Of Europe Championship in Catania, Sicily.
THE Phoenix Artistic Roller Skating Club had four skaters in the Great Britain team at the Cup Of Europe Championship in Catania, Sicily.
The qualification for the event came from their individual performances in this year's British Championships and also their inclusion in the national training squad for a 12-month period.
In the espoir category, which is aimed at young skaters between the ages of 10-12, local girls Monica Dekker and Jodene Corbin flew the Guernsey flag.
Accompanying the team were Phoenix juniors Chloe Dyke and Emilia Bianco, both very experienced internationals.
