As 37 people recovered, the total of active cases now sits at 142.

Of the new cases, one is a contact of known cases and two were identified through planned workforce screening and are not directly links to a source.

Seven patients with Covid-19 are currently in hospital. Two of these are not currently requiring clinical care themselves, but are in hospital supporting a La Grande Lande care home's inpatient care provision.

Just over 800 positive cases have been found in the Bailiwick since the start of the pandemic, 252 of which were from the 'first wave'.

Today the Civil Contingencies Authority is meeting to discuss when Guernsey will move to Stage 1 of the exit from lockdown, which could come as soon as Thursday, but no sooner.

A Covid-19 press briefing is scheduled for tomorrow where further announcements will be made.

Currently, 338 people are still awaiting test results and yesterday it was announced that a man in his 60s with Covid died in the hospital on Sunday.

As of midnight last night, 56,556 Covid samples had been taken in the Bailiwick.
