Guernsey takes on the world

THE 'Guerns' take on the world in Düsseldorf this weekend.

Andy Priaulx is competing in his sixth Race of Champions and the Guernsey driver will again partner F1 star and fellow 'westerner' Jenson Button in Team Great Britain against some of the toughest competition in motorsport.

'I always look forward to this event for several reasons,' said Priaulx, who as a St Peter's man lives not a million miles away from the Forest resident.

'First of all it's the end of the season, so we are all in relaxed moods and I get time to have some fun with mates like Jenson. '
