Priaulx defeats Vettel

ANDY PRIAULX enjoyed a great weekend at the Race of Champions at the Dusseldorf Esprit Stadium.

Despite not coming away with an overall win, the triple world champion was still very upbeat about the event in which he beat the reigning double world champion, Sebastian Vettel, in a head-to-head heat on Saturday.

'I had a great weekend. It is so much fun and also great to see all the other drivers in such a relaxed atmosphere,' Priaulx said.

Since he first went to the event in 2006, Priaulx has been a semi-finalist in the Race of Champions three times and a semi-finalist and a finalist twice in the Nations Cup.
