CLASS debutant Gavin Forsyth created a big impression as the Senior Rotax boys produced some great racing as rain proved a real leveller in the first round of the Summer Series at the Track.

By the third heat the circuit had started to dry and for the finals most drivers were on slicks.

Forsyth, who has moved up from the juniors, dominated the two wet opening heats, his flamboyant style of driving proved the winning formula in damp conditions when none of his rivals was able to match his pace.

Heat one saw him storm to victory after a dive down the inside of Matt Corson on Marais during the penultimate lap.
