A NEW era dawns this weekend for Andy Priaulx and he has emphasised that he has more hunger than ever to succeed.
Now 38 years old, the triple World Touring Car champion is an integral part of BMW Motorsport's return to the renowned DTM after an absence of 20 years and the Guernseyman has a burning desire to make his mark.
'Never forget that racing drivers are very competitive and this is a very important factor in our make up. We like new challenges as this is the way we can prove our competitiveness,' Priaulx said.
'For me this new challenge is very, very exciting. For me BMW's decision to go in this direction was just perfect. I may have three World and one European touring car titles to my name, but I want even more trophies for my mantelpiece.'
