GEOFF GUILLE ensured that there was Guernsey glory in Jersey's annual Liberation Day Hill Climb at Bouley Bay.
In his third and final timed run of the day, Guille went up in 42.12sec. to record the fastest time of the day, having improved steadily on his first two efforts of 42.31 and 42.16.
All three runs would have been quick enough to win the FTD and he led from the start of the day, with the second fastest man up also a Sarnian, namely Tim Torode in 42.55.
That broke his own class record of 42.82, one of six records set on the day, the other five all falling to home Caesarean drivers.
