LE VAL DES TERRES could be set for a royal battle on Jubilee weekend with conditions set for a record-breaking hill climb meeting.
One astronomical figure is already the entry list, which has topped 150 competitors and is substantially more than a regular meeting.
Among those are big racing car names Darren Warwick, Nick Saunders, Tim Torode and James Shorto, who have all broken the 30-second barrier in the past.
In Warwick's case, he has a local best of 28.30sec. up the hill and has spoken of breaking 28sec. this year, although he admits that could be a bit too optimistic on this occasion.
