Records galore up the Terres

ELEVEN class records fell in an exciting Guernsey Kart & Motor Club hill climb at Le Val des Terres on Saturday.

ELEVEN class records fell in an exciting Guernsey Kart & Motor Club hill climb at Le Val des Terres on Saturday.

Fastest time of the day went to Darren Warwick, pictured, who clocked an impressive 28.22sec. to break his own record in the racing cars 1,601 to 2,000cc class.

Two of the other record breakers - Paul Priaulx and Nick Saunders - also went sub. 30sec. to win their classes.

Steve Marquis, Lee Corbet, Matthew Roger, Rod Young and Barry Moignard also lowered records on four wheels in senior classes while junior karters Kasey Watson and Daniel Galpin did likewise.

The other record to fall went to Jez Mann, who broke his own mark in the scooters class.
