THE summer break is over for the DTM drivers and Andy Priaulx cannot wait to get back on track.
The next race is this weekend at the Nurburgring with the Guernsey driver competing on the Grand Prix track there for the first time.
'From the word go this weekend we shall be busy, so there will be no gently easing ourselves back into racing,' Priaulx said.
'I have only raced on this Grand Prix circuit as part of the 20km Nordschleife, so I don't know it at the highest sensitivity, as in the 24-hour races we have always set our cars up for the long track.
'I am going to have to understand a bit more about its surface and see how the DTM cars work on it.'
