CARL NUNN was a star visitor to the Pleinmont motocross track last weekend, as the former British Supercross and British MX2 champion passed on advice.

The UK man's visit helped around 35 riders of all ages and among them was Jason King, vice-captain of the motocross section.

'It was an excellent weekend and Carl was extremely helpful and of he benefit,' he said.

'When he coached the juniors on the first day, you could see some real improvement in them by the end of the day, which shows he made a difference.

'He was mainly teaching things like body position when approaching corners to go around the quickest, as well as teaching the youngsters about proper braking techniques.'
