GREG ROBERT is tackling some of the legendary circuits in motor racing as part one of the fastest, hotly-contested championships.

It is nine years since the 55-year-old chartered accountant made his debut in Division One Superkart racing and he recently achieved his best two results in European Championship races with a fourth and fifth at Zandvoort.

He now heads to the last round of the CIK-FIA European Superkart championship at Le Mans at the end of this month where he hope to secure another top 10 finish at a meeting which will also decide the drivers championship.

Mechanic Lee Corbet, one of the voices of local motorsport event commentary, often acts as his mechanic and is mightily impressed with the way Robert has maintained his form.
