MORE than £1m. could be needed to keep Longue Rue House and Maison Maritaine going if the extra-care housing redevelopment plans are delayed, according to Housing minister Dave Jones.

Deputy HSSD minister Andrew Le Lievre has put forward a sursis to delay the redevelopment of the two sites until details of how the project will be funded are revealed.

However, in a letter to all States deputies yesterday, Deputy Jones (pictured) sent out full details of how much maintenance work would cost over the next three years.
