LONG traffic queues could be cut if the Braye Road/Route Militaire crossroads was converted into a filter-in turn, according to Vale senior constable Brian de Jersey.

LONG traffic queues could be cut if the Braye Road/Route Militaire crossroads was converted into a filter-in turn, according to Vale senior constable Brian de Jersey.

He said there had long been problems at the junction, especially at school collection times, but now the issue was getting worse.

'The hold-up of traffic has stretched back to the Coq du Nord and to Capelles opposite the Corbet Field,' he said.

'That's three-quarters of a mile of traffic. It never used to happen'
