GUERNSEY FC added more fans to their ranks recently – this time all the way from Australia.

Local resident Nic Legg, 24, who also travels to away games, is a season ticket holder and insisted on sharing the Green Lions' home match-day experience with his aunt and uncle, Wendy and Derek Lawson, who were visiting Guernsey from Sydney.

And they witnessed plenty of action as the GFC thrashed Sheerwater 9-0.

Derek last watched Guernsey play football when he left the island in 1967. Wendy had watched her sons play 'soccer' in Australia but had never seen a senior game.
