A YACHT that ran aground on rocks off the entrance to St Peter Port Harbour in the early hours of Sunday was refloated and towed to the harbour yesterday.

The vessel, which is believed to have been bought on eBay for £3,000, had got into trouble at about 1.30am.

Two uninjured men had to be rescued by the St Peter Port lifeboat.

'We have got her off the rock and she is now alongside number five berth,' said harbour master Captain Peter Gill.
