Paralympic gold medallist visits
A PARALYMPIC swimmer arrives in Guernsey today to take part in a special coaching scheme.

Jessica-Jane Applegate MBE, pictured, won a gold medal in the 200m freestyle at the London games in 2012, where she competed in the S14 class for swimmers with learning disabilities.
Her four-day visit is part of the Guernsey Sports Commission's disability coaching programme, which is being sponsored by Credit Suisse.
She is being joined by her mum and coach Alex Pinneger, who is also head coach for the City of Norwich Swimming Club.
