Building is 'sneaky start of Belle Greve redevelopment'

BUILDING a concrete chamber along the eastern seawall is 'just the start of developing Belle Greve Bay', concerned neighbours have warned.

As part of the final phase of the Belle Greve waste water programme, Guernsey Water has submitted a planning application to construct a new chamber next to the Red Lion slipway.

But residents living opposite are outraged and fear that other islanders do not yet realise the extent of the chamber, which would be about 13 metres wide and could rise two metres above the low wall to the north of the existing slipway.
