Guernsey scraps Sunday trading restrictions
ALL shops can open on Sundays from this weekend after States members agreed to the complete deregulation of Sunday trading.

Following hours of debate today, Deputy Al Brouard's amendment aiming to revoke the Assembly's decision, made just weeks ago, to lift restrictions was defeated 22 – 23.
Deputies then went on to vote 24- 22 in favour of passing the legislation needed for deregulation.
