Ship Inn opens for summer season after refurbishment

THE Ship Inn is now open for Herm's summer season, with a refurbished bar and a enthusiastic new team.

Renovations took place over the winter months to create a welcoming new bar area. The Ship itself has been updated a great deal over the past few years, with new pictures and furniture giving the bar and restaurant a fresh summer feel.

Although a part of the White House Hotel, the Ship Inn has an identity all of its own. The latest refurbishment gives it the feel of a cosy and comfortable coffee bar, while the restaurant is spacious enough for either individual bookings or large groups. There is still a log fire for drizzly spring afternoons.

Returning staff Rachael Davies, manager, and Molly Clare, assistant manager, have been joined by a young and motivated new team ready to give everyone a friendly welcome.

Already the atmosphere is a lively one and the staff are settling in well. They are also listening to what guests want from the inn and tweaking the drinks menus accordingly.
