La Vallette volunteers praised for 'brilliant job'
AS HOLIDAYMAKERS and islanders alike took in the 'stunning' views from La Vallette, they praised the commitment and dedication of the volunteers to enhance the facilities in the area.

Many tourists have sat on the 11 new cast iron benches that were recently installed as part of the project.
Retired couple Jane and Donald Symonds from Bath were on holiday for 10 days and were just some of those to do so.
'I think it is such a lovely area and it's so clean and tidy,' Mrs Symonds said.
'We didn't realise it was done by volunteers but they have done a brilliant job.
'We came to Guernsey 40 odd years ago but we have had a lovely holiday and we would recommend it to other people.'
