Students discuss selection with deputies
A FINAL push has been made by both sides in the selection debate ahead of tomorrow's crucial debate.

And deputies have been urged not to dismiss the views of teachers after controversial comments by Deputy Barry Paint on Sunday with one union saying they have no agenda other than to deliver the best education service.
A group of around 15 students, who have experiences at different schools in Guernsey, yesterday got the opportunity to speak to politicians, including Education, Sport & Culture president Paul Le Pelley.
It comes as the Assembly will vote on whether to overturn the previously approved proposals, which will see the 11-plus scrapped and replaced by a non-selection system from September 2019.
