M&S fund bags new Xmas lights

FIVE new lighting displays have been installed in the High Street as Marks & Spencer donated £20,000 towards ensuring Town has a 'bright Christmas for years to come'.

Around half of the funds have also been used to put electrical infrastructure in Fountain Street so that the area can be lit for the festive period.

Creasey's, which runs the Marks & Spencer franchise in the island, has donated the money from its 5p plastic bag fund.
