GUERNSEY FC have again be left frustrated.

Just when they had hoped to make further inroads on the CCL Premier Division top sides at Raynes Park Vale today, they discovered yesterday afternoon that their rival's pitch was unplayable.

After some dry weather finally allowed the Green Lions to get their first league win since December on the board in midweek, Tony Vance's men were targeting another three points against the team sitting in 11th spot.

Glyn Dyer and Sam Cochrane had both returned to the squad after missing the Croydon win due to personal reasons, although right-back Jacques Isabelle and attacker Dave Rihoy are still missing. Young left-back Joe Alvarez has shrugged off an ankle knock to keep his place, while Jamie Dodd is also beating a persistent calf fibre problem to continue playing.
