GLENN LE TISSIER ended his goal drought last night to ensure Vale Rec will finish their FNB Priaulx League campaign as runners-up.

But St Martin's coach John Peace will be scratching his head for some time over just how his side managed to lose at Blanche Pierre Lane.

Playing with the biting wind at their backs, Saints dominated the first half and yet were trailing at the interval.

Chances were few and far between in the opening 45, with Vijay Wiltshire's long-range shot in the first minute, which looked destined for the top corner until Jody Bisson clawed it away, the closest either side had come before Le Tissier broke the deadlock on 37min.
