Island first team promoted with perfect record
RAVENSCROFT I finished their British National League campaign off in style this weekend and secured promotion from Division Four North.
Going into the weekend with an unbeaten record of 10 victories, they proceeded to add another four straight wins to finish the season with a perfect record and a massive seven-point gap to the sides in second position, Warrington TTC and Rotherham Scorpions II.
All four Guernsey players feature at the top of the averages for Division Four North in terms of wins over the course of the season, Ben Foss with 22 out of 28, Joshua Stacey with 23, Josh Butler with 24 and Alex Robinson with 27.
The Ravenscroft second string team comprising Lawrence Stacey, Paul Hainsworth, Dawn Morgan and debutant James Rabey found the going tough during the final weekend of fixtures in the fiercely contested Division Four South.
They finished the season in sixth place and will remain in Division Four next year.
