Under a new independent chair person in Nick Graham, the LMC – previously almost a one-man band – has with the assistance and support of the Guernsey Football Association and its member clubs, brought together a 10-man group which they hope will not only improve administration but raise the standards and profile of the local game.

Eric Graham, the retired referee, is to take charge of fixtures but each new LMC member has specific tasks and areas of responsibility under Nick Graham, a long- time football fan who won representative honours at youth level.

As well as two 'co-ordinators' in Brian Horsepool and Andy Robert, former referee and Muratti goalkeeper Ian Drillot is in charge of finances and Simon Charlwood media and public relations.

Shaun Lihou has been appointed youth league representative and Alice Davis likewise for the women's game.

James Falla and Zoe Lihou complete the body as referees representative and GFA representative, respectively.

The league now has its own twitter account at @GFALeagues.
