That is the New Wilderness to be precise, which is the home ground of National Three London & South-East newcomers Eton Manor who having been learning the hard way about the step up in class in their inaugural season at this level.

So far Manor have suffered a 65-7 home defeat to Hertford on the opening day of the season, which was followed by an 82-14 loss at Tonbridge Juddians last weekend.

'In this league it's not about what you have, it's what you don't have because teams will suss you out pretty quickly. That could be depth – a lack of it in the front row or the back row for example – and teams will look to capitalise on that,' said GRFC director of rugby Jordan Reynolds yesterday as he looked ahead to tomorrow's clash.

Reynolds has made only one change to the side who beat Chichester 52-14 at Footes Lane last week with Matt Armstrong coming in on the wing for Dave Davison.

Guernsey team: Craine, Ceillam, Batiste, Hillier, Merrien, Rice, Le Cocq, M. Thomas, Nixon, O. Thomas, Campbell, Walters, M. Armstrong, Stables, Sayer. Replacements: Luke Gardner, Leon Gardner, Martin.
