SEB PRIAULX showed great promise in a mixed weekend on his race debut in the highly-competitive Kick Start Ginetta Junior Winter Series at Snetterton.

But the key now, according to his touring car driver father Andy, is for the 14-year-old to find the sponsorship to compete in the full series during 2016.

Across four races with the JHR Developments team, young Priaulx picked up a total of 31 championship points and recorded a best finishing position of 12th.

Just as encouragingly, he recorded the quickest lap time of any of the 'rookies' in action in three of those four races and was well up on more than one occasion before being caught up in race incidents.

His father, the three-time world touring car champion, said that his son is heading in the right direction and continues to show huge potential.

'There were a couple of accidents that Seb got caught up in that were perhaps a bit unfortunate but as he gains more experience, he will learn to avoid that,' said Andy.

'Seb was up against many guys who have spent lots of time racing over the last few months and even years, so for him to compete with them on his race debut was fantastic.'
