Guernsey women's football team to enter UK leagues as Ormer FC

ORMER FC have created a women's team that is effectively the Guernsey side in all but name and it will enter UK competitions from next season.

Due to what they see as neglect from the Guernsey Football Association when it comes to the women's game, the island's elite players approached Ormer about the possibility of forming a female team.

Various discussions in recent months have been successful and now the announcement has been made that Ormer Ladies will be affiliated to the Hampshire FA.
