Teenage footballer Robbie Legg wins national award

ROBBIE LEGG has been recognised among young regional sports stars across the UK by winning the 2016 OCS Young Sportsperson of the Year Award.

The 17-year-old Guernsey FC forward was selected for the awards as the nominee from the Channel Islands, the first time the region has been included in the national awards.

Legg was presented his award by BBC Sport presenter Gabby Logan at an awards evening at City Hall in London earlier this week.
