RE LETTERS 25 April, It’s not too late to save the Fermain Beach Cafe.

I was utterly appalled to learn of the States’ decision not to offer the current excellent tenants the opportunity of renewing their lease on the cafe and even more appalled to hear of their idiotic plans to erect a three-storey structure anywhere upon that site, let alone in the woods. What are they thinking of? Who comes up with these ideas? This spot is a dream and a dream it must remain by keeping it absolutely as it is. A preservation order must be placed upon the whole site forthwith.
