After being left dormant for quite some time, Delisles Methodist Church was bought by the States for £1m. in 2019 in anticipation for use within the secondary school transformation. When the so-called two-school model fell victim to the ‘pause and review’ of the last States, the chapel was put up for sale again, and bought by a local family who went about restoring the building. The restoration of Deslisles chapel has left an amazing space open for hire, and waiting to be filled. Andy Brown finds out more.
