A locally-born actor is returning to Guernsey with a play about the writing of Toilers. Simon De La Rue spoke to Patrick Dickson.

When L M Davidson learned that her eldest sister was fathered by a German soldier during the Nazi Occupation of Jersey, her world shifted. Raised by a Jewish father, many of whose family were murdered in the Holocaust, she struggled to reconcile the painful legacies of alleged collaboration and persecution.
