The families of Lauren Domaille and Louisa Burwood , pictured, both 14, found out after they had been successful through the first stage and on Saturday (20th) night they stunned a Beau Sejour crowd into silence as they performed again after being announced winners.
There were eight acts in the talent competition, which included music, drama and dancing.
Lauren said her father found out after a confirmation letter was sent to their home and he then phoned her.
'We didn't want to tell them in case we didn't get through the audition,' Louisa said.
The pair sang a duet medley of Black Roses, by Clare Bowen, and Winter Trees, by The Staves, a cappella. It was inspired by the musical duo, Lennon and Maisy – sisters Lennon Ray Louise Stella and Maisy Jude Marion Stella, best known for their roles as Maddie and Daphne Conrad in the musical drama series, Nashville.
