Films, ranging from new releases to old classics, will start being shown on a new 2D and 3D screen from Sunday 26 October.

The department is launching the new screen, to be called Beau Cinema, to coincide with the October half term week. The first film to be shown will be Jurassic Park.

A test screening was held on Friday.

'Following positive feedback from research which the department had undertaken, we are now delighted to announce that after more than 15 years since the last public screening, the newly named Beau Cinema will reopen once again,' said Culture and Leisure deputy minister David Inglis.
