The 86-metre high-speed catamarans Condor Vitesse and Condor Express are being sold to Greek ferry operator SeaJets and will be replaced with the new £50m. trimaran, which is currently known as Condor 102.
Condor Ferries yesterday said it was unable to confirm the price it agreed for its two departing ferries, as this was 'commercially sensitive'.
The company said its plans to sell these vessels and the need for a long-term agreement in the Channel Islands, were always included in the planning, it shared with both the States of Guernsey and Jersey, to enable it to invest in a new ferry.
