A MULTI-MILLION pound economic windfall could be hitting Guernsey, as it looks set to host the 2021 NatWest Island Games.

Accommodation has been circled out as the biggest hurdle to overcome locally, before hosting the biennial multi-sports event, and its thousands of competitors, coaches and spectators.
Guernsey has officially launched a bid to host the 2021 Games.
And those close to the bid, announced this morning, believe the major calendar coup would bring with it massive economic return, and once again put the island on the international sporting map.
