Herm Trident V back in service

TRIDENT V entered service again on Saturday after being re-floated on the high tide on Friday night.

It followed a gruelling two weeks of work for engineers at Marine and General, who put in roughly 100 hours overtime between them in order to get the vessel repaired in time for this week's spring tides.

Eventually they finished three days earlier than expected.

Were Had they not been successful, more of Trident V's season would have been lost waiting for tides high enough to re-float it.

Trident Charter Company managing director Peter Wilcox said he was immensely grateful to the Marine and General staff for the extra effort they put in.
