Pride of Guernsey: an 'awesome, open-minded parent'
KATE EVANS has been described as an 'awesome, open-minded parent' by her daughter.

The 44-year-old was nominated for the Christies Group-sponsored Parent/s of the Year Award by Rachael Evans, 15.
'She is always friendly even when she is struggling,' said Rachael.
'Juggling a busy house, cat and teenage daughter is hard enough but add personal mental health issues, severe sight impairment and food issues and it's almost a guaranteed disaster – however, she keeps it together, keeps her head on straight and helps everywhere she can.'
