Pride of Guernsey: 'the kindest lady to have walked the earth'
A MOTHER described as the 'kindest lady to have walked the earth' has been nominated for the Parent of the Year Award.

Abbie Le Page, 18, has put forward her mum Sam Le Page for the Christies Group-sponsored accolade due to her always being there for her children despite recent heartache.
'My mum is the kindest lady to have walked this earth,' said Abbie.
'Earlier this year she sadly lost her mother after being a full-time carer for her.
'Even while coping with this she has been more than supportive to myself and my older sister Chloe, 26.
'Despite illness, she always manages to smile and make others smile along with her.'
She said her mum always put others before herself and cared about everyone.
