Speaking yesterday, Home Affairs president Deputy Mary Lowe said the Population Employment Advisory Panel had been tasked with contacting local businesses for feedback on the Population Management Regime.

The panel consists of six industry representatives, headed up by chairman Peter Gillson, who have reached out to employers since July for feedback and first-hand experience.

‘We have been reviewing the law as we go along,’ said Deputy Lowe.
