Zef back up to 200mph a year after high-speed crash

EXACTLY a year on from surviving a 220mph motorbike crash, Zef Eisenberg was back on the same UK track, riding a new bike at 200mph.

The businessman broke 11 bones and spent three months in hospital after last year’s crash.

But after determinedly working his way through his recovery, yesterday he was back on a new bike at Elvington Airfield.

He admitted feeling nervous.

‘There was fear, doubt and trepidation,’ he said.

‘I visited the place where the crash happened. There is still a hole where the bike went through and the skid marks are still there from last year.

‘There was quite a lump in the throat. But you just have to put that to the back of your mind, focus, calm down and nail the throttle and go for it.’
