The road was closed in October for Guernsey Water to replace the sewage pipe.
But it was found after work had started that records showing the location of services, including the Hugo fibre optics telecommunications line, were inaccurate.
As a result, major changes to the location of the sewer have had to be made.
Final reinstatement took place over the weekend and was completed yesterday, with the asphalt being left to cure overnight and the road is due to reopen to all traffic at 7am.
