An institution since 2009, the awards have established a leading reputation in travel and tourism. Each entry is evaluated by an elite judging panel of senior marketers with only the best work making it onto the shortlist.

‘Great people make a great agency and we’ve focused on attracting, and developing, some of the best talent in the industry over the years,’ said Peter Grange, Oi chief executive officer.

‘To be shortlisted as marketing agency of the year at this prestigious global destination marketing awards is a great achievement and only possible thanks to the great work by all of the 34 very talented people we have at Oi.’

The company’s ‘How do you want to feel?’ campaign for Visit Jersey has also been shortlisted for best digital marketing campaign at this year’s awards. The campaign, produced by Oi and partly shot in London, featured real people being asked both how they were feeling and how they wanted to feel. Many of their answers highlighted some of the general stresses associated with living in a city, leaving Oi perfectly placed to position Jersey as a tonic to city life.

Seeded out through Visit Jersey’s social channels, it amassed more than 1.5m. views as well as helping to achieve a 17% increase in visitors to the island in October and November last year, said Oi.

n The Travel Marketing Awards ceremony takes place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 11 March.
