New St Sampson’s rector is named
THE Rev. Gillian Nobes is to be the new rector of St Sampson’s, replacing the Rev. Timothy Dack, who resigned on 30 September 2018.

Mrs Nobes is currently priest in charge of Highcliffe and assistant area dean of Christchurch in the Diocese of Winchester.
She will take up her new role in the autumn.
Mrs Nobes lived in Guernsey before her ordination in 2012.
She held senior roles in the finance industry and was both churchwarden and licensed lay minister (reader) in St Saviour’s.
