The auction will take place at the Farmhouse Hotel on Friday 26 August, with eight different lots of varied size and value on the border of St Peter’s and Torteval.
All the fields have roadside vehicle access and ‘stand on well-drained high ground’, and lot two has access to a well.
Lot number six also has the right to harvest crop until the end of 2022, having long been farmed in the ownership of a single family.
‘A family who owned the fields has decided to release them and we have already had a great deal of interest from the public in regards to the auction,’ said Cooper Brouard director Cathy Gallienne.
‘Every time someone comes in the office to ask about the availability, they leave and someone else comes in to ask the same thing.
‘These fields are of incredible quality – one has electric and a borehole which is a massive bonus.
‘They have been farmed over a number of years so it is a really exciting opportunity and its quite unique.
‘Some have been used for horses, some for training animals, but the majority have been used for crops.’
