From today until Tuesday 7 January 2025, a number of two-hour parking spaces will be extended to three-hours.

This includes more than 100 two-hour spaces in the centre section of North Beach, as well as more than 200 spaces across the Albert and Crown Piers.

The three-hour parking spaces on the Havelet Bay side of the Model Yacht Pond will be changed to 10-hour parking to increase capacity for those working in Town over the Christmas period.

Furthermore, the 10-hour spaces at North Beach will also be de-regulated on Saturdays, meaning drivers will not be required to move their vehicle by 8am if they have parked overnight on the Friday.

Parking normally reserved for port permit parking at St Julian’s Emplacement – between Cambridge Berth and Trident Kiosk – will be made available for late night shoppers from 5pm until 10pm on 5, 12, and 19 December.

People will also be able to park at both Sir Charles Frossard House and Lukis House today and every Saturday in December.

In addition, these car parks will be available for late night shopping on Thursdays between 5pm and 10pm.

Buses schedules are being amended to help with late night shopping.

The S bus services, which normally operate at 8.35pm, will be delayed until 9.05pm on the late-night shopping evenings.

These routes are the S1 to the north, S2 to the Vazon and Cobo area, the S3 to the western parishes, and the S4 through the centre of the island as far as St Saviour's.

n Further details will be available online from www.buses.gg or by emailing information@buses.gg.

The Petit Train will also be offering a free park and ride service from 6pm until 9pm on the late-night shopping evenings between Sir Charles Frossard House and Stand A at the bus terminus.
